Plywood Board
How is a fire-retardant plywood board produced?
By impregnation of the veneers before the panel laying.
Ecochem’s flame retardant additive ‘PW 800 or PW 802 ’ is simply solved in cold water at 20 – 25 % concentration. The product is easily water soluble.
The impregnation can be done under boiler pressure or in a standard dipping process.
Fire-retardant standards
We produce fire retardant plywood panels in accordance with all the different European and international standards.
Depending on the thickness and the density of the boards, our experts will help you with the determination of the percentage ‘PW-additive’ that will be required to reach your target test standard.
