How is a fire-retardant particle board produced?

By adding one of EcoChem’s granulated flame retardant additives ‘from the PB-Range’ to the wood chips during the production of the board.

The composition of the ‘PB-additives’ has been selected from an ecological perspective and is protected by an international patent.

Fire-retardant standards

We offer/sell products to produce fire retardant chipboards in accordance with all the different European and international standards.

Depending on the thickness and the density of the boards, our experts will help you with the determination of the percentage ‘PB additive’ that will be required to reach your target test standard.
