How to produce a fire-retardant OSB- board?

Every OSB production line is unique and needs a tailor-made method to achieve the FR objectives. EcoChem’s general method consists of the in-line impregnation of the OSB wood strands with flame retardant additives from our MD-Range.

EcoChem offers the world’s most complete range of different fire-retardants for wood products. The determination of the additive which best answers your requirements can only be done based on individual communication between our companies.

Fire-retardant standards:

We can produce fire retardant OSB boards in accordance with all the different European and international standards.

Depending on the thickness and the density of the boards, our experts will help you with the determination of the percentage ‘MD-additive’ that will be required to reach your target test standard.
