How to produce a fire-retardant MDF- or HDF- board?
By adding of one of EcoChem’s flame retardant additives from the ‘MD-Range’ during the production of the board. EcoChem offers the world’s most complete range of different fire-retardants for MDF and HDF boards.
The The MD-range contains solid and liquid additives:
- Solid flame retardants. These solid flame-retardants are used in a solid form or as watery suspensions.
- Liquid, ready-to-use flame-retardants.
Fire-retardant standards
We produce fire retardant MDF boards in accordance with all the different European and international standards.
Depending on the thickness and the density of the boards, our experts will help you with the determination of the percentage ‘MD-additive’ that will be required to reach your target test standard.
